Formation is
the cheap part.

Anyone can file an entity. Almost nobody builds the operation that scales it. That gap is where practices overpay, break under audit, and stall entering their next state.

Camino owns that gap. We build the structure, run the operation, and generate the compliance record while your practice actually operates.

Permissive / no doctrine (13)No ban. Fee-splitting and clinic licensure still apply.

Unedited words from people we've actually worked with — from solo cash-pay practices to national telemedicine companies.

A colleague of mine referred me after she used Camino to launch her own practice, and I get why now. I'd worked with a consultant before and it basically felt like paying someone to email me PDFs. This was the opposite. Camino set up the whole backend of my practice, handed me documents I didn't even know I needed, and actually seemed to care whether it worked. I've referred four people to Camino since.

For over a year I kept telling myself I would launch once I finally understood the compliance and entity side, and honestly I was never going to figure it out alone. Camino walked me through all of it and laid it out in an order that made sense, so instead of staring at an overwhelming list I just knew what to do first. About four months in, my caseload is full. I don't think that happens without Camino.

As a physician I'm used to being the one who understands the details, and this was an area where I genuinely didn't. What stood out was that Camino never talked down to me or made me feel like my questions were slowing things down. My compliance is handled now, and it's not something I lie awake worrying about anymore.

05 · Compliance approach

compliance is
a journey.
camino operationalizes it.

The old way is a binder nobody opens. Most people think you get a compliance plan on day one and you’re done. Ours runs through the software we build with you — so from day one, hiring, training, vendor management, contracts, and every other operational touchpoint generates the audit log, paper trail, and documentation that demonstrate compliance as you actually operate.

Common
questions.

Answer-first, so you don’t have to hunt. Deeper answers live inside each service page.

Can a non-physician own a medical practice?+

In most states, no. Corporate Practice of Medicine (CPOM) doctrine requires a physician-owned professional corporation. A non-clinical company uses an MSO to provide services to the PC under a management services agreement — that’s the structure we build.

What is a PC and an MSO?+

A Professional Corporation (PC) is physician-owned and delivers clinical care. A Management Services Organization (MSO) provides administrative, operational, and technology services to the PC. Together they let non-clinical founders operate a compliant healthcare business.

Do you set up structure in all fifty states?+

Yes. Camino handles PC/MSO formation, multi-state registration, and state-specific compliance across all fifty states, with a focus list of fifteen states first: CA, NY, IL, CO, NJ, TX, NV, WA, FL, PA, MI, NC, SC, GA, TN.

How is management priced?+

Per location, like software. As you add locations or enter new states, the model scales without a proportional consulting spend.

How is Camino different from a healthcare lawyer?+

A lawyer files documents. Camino designs and runs the operation those documents sit inside — structure, operations, management, and compliance as one integrated system, in fifty states.
